Welcome to 2018! CLiF is testing a new grant
program to "Revive Your Literacy Programming."
CLiF hired Evergreen Evaluation and Consulting to completed
research that outlines best practices for maintaining momentum after a CLiF
grant. While this research focused on the Year of the Book grant, we believe
the findings apply to all CLiF partners.
This grant provides $500 to support literacy goals.
Successful applicants will select from a menu of options and explain in their
proposal how they will use grant components to stimulate interest and
enthusiasm for literacy activities.
Any organization that has been a CLiF partner in the last five
years is eligible to apply. (Note to Year of the Book grant recipients: Priority will be given to schools whose grant pre-dated the addition of momentum grants in 2014.)
Applicants must be able to gather 30 kids from birth to age 12 (or sixth grade).
Because we are testing this idea, we are looking for
partners who can act quickly. Applications are due January 29, 2018. Applicants
will be notified if they received a grant by February 5, 2018. Grant activities
must be completed by May 1, 2018.
